A playful and hands-on two week workshop exploring the techniques of mask play and how to build a mask from scratch.  Students will undergo a deep exploration of contemporary archetype and the transformative immediacy of masks using both professional masks and a final mask made and their own. We will find the perfect balance between structure and freedom to bring alive a full-faced character mask using improvisations and self constructed scenes that will be performed to a small invited audience at the end!
